The persistent problem of ever-growing household garbage (municipal solid waste MSW) garbage in Thailand is one that has yet to find a comprehensive solution or strategy. No audited data is available but some university studies report that household garbage is growing double digit per year and less than 50% is properly handled. Extracting calorific value from MSW is a part of the solution and our subsidiary TPI Polene Power operates the largest waste-to-energy (WTE) power plant fuelled with MSW. Handling the by-product of the extraction process has taken us to the realm of bio-organic compounds that become a springboard to organic and regenerative agriculture. We now have over 100 SKUs of products in this category. We have both the capability to customized size and volume according to customer’s needs and the capacity to scale up operations.

Our organic fertilizers such as the “bat cave fertilizer” pellets, “growth organic liquid fertilizer” and “humus fertilizers” prove to be very effective in promoting plant growth, increasing productivity as well as flavor and taste of edible vegetables, fruits, rice and maize.   

Wood vinegar is another derivative of this fermented by-product that can control pests that infest plants including pomology fruits and flowering plants. The advantage of Wood Vinegar is that it is purely organic so does not pose health hazard while chemical insecticides have high carcinogen factor leading to high incidence in respiratory problems causing death to farmers. Once again, this will be very helpful for our farmers who tend to have limited knowledge on how to get rid of the insects without using harmful insecticides.

Our Hoof Guard is an acetic acid, the byproduct from our factories that can eliminate and control harmful bacteria and viruses infesting hoofed animals such as cattles, goats, horses, sheep, swine and many more.  Particularly very common here in Thailand are the Capripoxviruses that are highly infectious and vaccination is costly especially for the livestock farmers – our primary target users as one of our corporate goals is to help raise productivity of farms by preventing the pathogenic viruses such as Foot & Mouth disease. Hoof Guard is an effective prevention formulation and is organic edible by animals.

Natu Piglet is a calcium carbonate by product that can be applied to newborn piglets that will keep them dry and warm thus reducing risk of infection and mortality rates. The Natu Chick is the same derivative that when applied to the floors of poultry farms absorbs moisture and reduces smell eliminating the breeding grounds for harmful bacteria and insects especially scarabs. Both Natu-Piglet and Natu-Chick can raise farm productivity by reducing mortality, disfiguration of body parts, for example foot pad dermatitis that blackens chicken feet thus are no longer marketable. These organic pesticides and dehumidifiers can also help raise poultry farm productivity by raising the economic value of the carcass with no hazards to farmers and consumers.

Our synbiotics are very effective in promoting growth of the animals, boosting immunity against diseases without using dangerous antibiotics and chemicals. Moreover, they reduce methane gas and bad smell produced in animal farms at the same time improving the feed conversion ratio thus reducing the total farming costs with safe produces advancing our global goal of “Food Safety and Food Security”.
