TPI Polene Welcomes GreenBiz Hong Kong, Driving a Greener Future

In a significant development in the regional green business landscape, TPI Polene Group hosted the delegation GreenBiz Hong Kong Mission 2026 in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HK-TDC). The delegation was led by Dr. Lo Wai-kwok, Member of the Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and Ms. Anna Cheng of regional HKTDC, along with the representatives from HKTDC-Thailand. Ten leading companies have participated in the event bringing in 14 participants. This visit by the Mission was part of the broader event GreenBiz HK on 17-20 March 2026. The visit aimed to study sustainability and the green economy in Thailand. The TPI Polene Group shared its own experience and journey towards Sustainability and Green Economy.

 Mr. Prachai Leophairatana, Chief Executive Officer of TPI Polene Public Company Limited, shared the company’s vision under the slogan “We Build the Future.” He emphasized the successful implementation of the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy model—from construction materials to converting community waste into electricity to expanding into microbiology and organic biological businesses to enhance food security, a key foundation for reducing carbon footprint in a tangible way.

 The event also featured in-depth presentations on five key sustainability strategies, including TPI Group’s master plan by Dr. Porakrit Leophairatana; clean energy innovation and journey to zero waste power production by Mr. Pakkapol Leophairatana; innovations in specialty plastic resins by Dr. Virat Chatdarong; green construction materials by Mr. Pakorn Leopairut and Dr. Nithiphong Vikitset; and health-focused products by Mr. Anuwat Tooktham. These presentations demonstrated the integration of environmentally friendly technologies across all dimensions of the TPI Group.

The overarching objective of this engagement was to foster understanding of potential, opportunities within Thailand’s rapidly growing green economy. The Hong Kong delegation showed particular interest in green infrastructure products and market entry strategies.

 The company organized exhibition booths showcasing products from each business unit to provide the Delegates concrete specimen of the various products discussed in the presentation. The booths drew strong interest from the visitors.

 This event provided an excellent opportunity for executives from both sides to exchange perspectives and deepen their understanding of the direction of the green economy and ESG requirements in Thailand. It also laid a solid foundation for building sustainable business networks and expanding strategic collaboration between Thailand and Hong Kong, aiming to contribute towards long-term business and economic while advancing Sustainability and Green Economy
